How to fill in MDAC (Malaysia Digital Arrival Card)?
Effective 1st January 2024, completion of MDAC is mandatory to all foreign citizens that travelling to
Malaysia.

MDAC should be fill up within 3 days before arrival in Malaysia. Show MDAC registration and verify
your passport at immigration counter.

Exception list for MDAC as below:
​
1. Citizens of Singapore
2. Diplomatic and official passport holders
3. Malaysia permanent residents and long-term pass holders
4. General certificate of identity (GCI) Brunei Darussalam Holders
5. Brunei Malaysia Frequent Traveler Facility Holders
6. Thailand Border Pass Holders
7. Indonesia cross-border travel document (PLB) Holders
4 Steps to fill in your MDAC
Step 1: Click into the official MDAC Register page (https://imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/mdac/main)
and click ‘Register’.

Step 2: Fill in all the necessary details in the form and make sure all the details are correct.

Step 3: Click ‘Submit’ button after filled up the form.

Step 4: Show your MDAC Registration at immigration counter if officer request.
Things you must take note:
1. For Hong Kong travellers, you may select “China” as your Nationality, otherwise you may not be able to pass the immigration and need to fill in a new MDAC on the spot.

2. For travellers that entering Malaysia between 2300hrs – 0000hrs, you may want to fill in another MDAC for the next day in case flight delay or traffic jam in customs.
